I am a keen fan and advocate of web based technology used for developing connections between people online, using the likes of LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to good effect.
LinkedIn: a series of interconnected professional profiles, with connections to groups and businesses reflecting the lives of professional personas of individuals. The delightful aspect of LinkedIn which is unusual in online profiles is the way that the profiles of individuuals are more verifiable that paper based CVs, and provide individuals to find the colleagues and contacts they want to make a connection with very effficiently.
